This Sunday August 24 is the 15th Sunday after Pentecost. Worship is at 11am. Sunday School resumes September 7. Come for some stimulating conversation around the downstairs coffee pot from 10 to 11 am. Worship team practice in the sanctuary at the same time.

In Worship this week Kathy Nussbaum will be sharing about her upcoming trip to Uganda.

Good response on Sunday to the call for church cleaners. Until a new custodian is found - we, the congregation- will take over. Sign up on the bulletin board to take a week this summer. Still a few weeks left!

There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for people interested in attending CBC's Family Camp Woody Weekend Retreat (Aug. 30, 31, & Sept. 1). Come join us for a weekend of family fun and worship! There will be worship service at CBC at 11 AM on August 31.

Speaking of offerings - don't forget the One Great Hour of Sharing which is a national offering that goes specifically to meet emergency needs in our country. It will be taken over the next couple of weeks.
